The Tasting Room
The newly renamed Tasting Room at Villa Maria is for wine lovers, colleagues, family and friends from near or far to gather over a glass of wine. The fresh new layout changes the way we host, opens up the space for storytelling and tasting experiences, seated or standing. To complement our wine offering, we have partnered with Collective Hospitality to create a delicious small plate and platter menu designed to hero our wine with subtle flavour profiles, presented vibrantly and on-trend.
We also invite you to join one of our cellar door professionals for a guided premium tasting where you can learn more about the Villa Maria wine story. We also host guided tours of the winery where you can learn more about Villa Maria’s viticulture and sustainability journey.
Our Restaurant Opening times
The Tasting Room will be closed during level 3.
We are open Tuesday – Saturday 11 am - 7 pm with reservations recommended. Please contact us for parties of 8 or more as capacity is limited.
We will be closing at 5pm on 18 March and 3pm on 25 March for a private event.

Vineyard Walking Trail
Allow 30-35 minutes at a leisurely pace (2km)
This self-guided walking trail has been designed to showcase the unique attributes of our vineyard park, which is set in a volcanic crater that is more than 20,000 years old. Simply follow our six ‘point of interest’ trail markers which will start from outside the Cellar Door (see map inside).
At the completion of your walk sit back and relax in The Tasting Room with a glass of our award-winning wine over lunch or visit the Cellar Door to take a bottle of wine home.
Please be aware that Villa Maria is a working winery. Machinery may be operating around the grounds. Children should be supervised at all times.
