Regional characteristics
The fruit for our Syrah is all sourced from the hot, dry Hawkes Bay region, from different several sites in and around the famed Gimblett Road area.
Hawkes Bay Syrah has deep berry fruit, violet and savoury pepper aromas and a palate that features plum, spice and wild herb notes, complemented by silky smooth tannins.
Food matching
Syrah is an excellent food wine, particularly when paired with dishes featuring game, such as duck or venison.
