There is no better summer drink than a chilled glass of Rose. It’s a fun easy drinking wine that goes with a variety of different cuisines. With the sun shining there is no excuse needed to enjoy your favourite pink drop and we have found 6 ways to make the experience even more memorable.

1. Add Lavender

Adding herbs and spices are a great way to upgrade your Rose experience and Lavender goes particularly well with Rose. Refreshing and perfectly aromatic, lavender adds a little something extra guaranteeing that your palate will feel simply marvellous after every sip.

2. Add Fruit

Roses range in taste but many feature fruity notes like berries and melon to leave a refreshing summer feel in your mouth. By adding a little fruit to your glass you can bring out the natural sweetness in the wine plus it is a pretty addition to any glass.

3. Add Ice

On a summers day an extra chilled glass of wine makes for a refreshing way to cool down. Cool down your drink or make a Rose slushy by adding extra ice to your drink. Create a sangria texture by adding ice cubes or a snow cone effect with crushed ice.

4. Add Flowers

Make the most of seasonal summer flowers by making your favourite glass of Rose into a vase. There are a variety of edible flowers that can be found and evn more just for a decorative touch. Hot tip, add flowers and fruits like strawberries and berries for the best looking Rose at your summer BBQ.

5. Add Bubbles

If you don’t already have a Rose that is sparkling then get bubbling. Add a splash of seltzer, sparkling water or even soda to get that fizzy effect to your favourite glass of Rose. Perfect for a celebratory toast too!

6. Add Cream

Rose and dessert – two of our favourite things. So you can imagine our delight when we combined the two to create a deliciously drinkable Rose dessert.

Simply take your favourite glass of chilled rose and some cream – the thicker and heavier the better to create a sugary drink perfect for dessert on a warm summers evening. Yes your drink may well be a little over the top but its summer so why not!
